Founded in 2019 by Jonathan Burrows following the devastation caused by Hurricane Dorian in the Northern Bahamas, the Burrows Hope Foundation was created to address the immediate and long-term needs of communities impacted by natural disasters such as hurricanes, floods, and tropical storms.

We aim to be a beacon of hope and a pillar of strength, helping communities recover and rebuild after natural disasters, while fostering resilience and preparedness against future challenges. Also,  providing comprehensive support that goes beyond emergency relief, including essential supplies, medical assistance, housing solutions, emotional support, rebuilding assistance, and disaster preparedness education. By partnering with local and international organizations, the foundation ensures effective and timely aid delivery, empowering communities to regain stability and dignity.

Our Mission

Is to provide immediate and  ongoing, supplemental aid to individuals and communities impacted by natural disasters, ensuring that they receive the long-term support necessary to rebuild their lives and foster resilience against future catastrophes.

Our Vision

Our vision is a world where no community is left to fend for itself in the aftermath of natural disasters. Through the provision of vital resources, educational initiatives, and collaborative recovery efforts, we aspire to be a source of hope, stability, and empowerment for disaster-stricken regions across the Gulf, Southeastern United States, and the Caribbean.

Our Objectives

The Burrows Hope Foundation is dedicated to achieving the following:

1. Provide Immediate and Ongoing Supplemental Aid: Ensure that communities affected by natural disasters receive essential supplies, medical care, housing assistance, and psychological support, extending beyond the emergency relief phase.

2. Facilitate Long-term Recovery and Rebuilding Efforts: Work directly with affected individuals and communities to rebuild homes, schools, community infrastructure, and local economies, fostering both physical and economic recovery.

3. Empower Communities Through Education and Preparedness Initiatives: Provide training and resources to help communities better prepare for future disasters, reducing their vulnerability and enhancing their ability to recover quickly and effectively.

4. Establish a Sustainable Fundraising and Resource Allocation Model: Build a stable financial foundation through diversified funding streams, including grants, donations, and corporate sponsorships, to ensure swift response capabilities and long-term operational sustainability.

5. Develop a Strong Network of Partnerships: Collaborate with local, national, and international organizations, governments, and private sector entities to ensure effective resource mobilization, aid distribution, and long-term recovery planning.
